I just completed Dead Space and what a game, I really want to play through Mass Effect now to continue the whole space game thingbut I just wanted to know if they patched the game to add the improvements the PC version had? like the inventory system which needed fixing or the texture mapping problems Did they ever patch Mass Effect?
They might have I'm not too sure because I just bought the game like 3 weeks ago and I never seen the way it used to be, so couldn't tell ya.Did they ever patch Mass Effect?

To answer your question no, BioWare has never patched Mass Effect. Its been one year and no patch so that means they never will patch it. I guess fixing all the games issues for the PC version than fixing them on the 360 version was too hard. So was the tons of DLC they promised, I seem to only have the one. Thanks BioWare for your continued support.

The inventory system is the same as ever, so no change there.
As for textures, I never really noticed anything wrong with them, so I couldn't say. I have to say, I have noticed fewer glitches though.

EA bought them
EA bought them
Um yes - but EA bought them BEFORE Mass Effect was released - so I'm not sure what your point is.EA has actually been turning things around and releasing good games lately - and they aren't the money machine they once were - so no need to throw stones at them any longer - I think they are listening to the gamers (finally) and are actually trying to become a respectable company again.:)

They may have bought out a lot of small devs but they actually do provide alot of support and content for their games. Hell look at what they did to revitalize Burnout Paradise for free. Thats whats weird about BioWare not doing anything for Mass Effect, they have near limitless resources on hand from EA for updates and content for easily one of the best games of 07 yet they do nothing.
Yeah - here's what I think/fear has happened. I believe Bioware most likely had an add on/DLC done - but after a few months instead of releasing it they have just decided to incorporate it into ME2 which would allow them to finish an acceptable length (play wise) game a little sooner. While I want ME2 as much as the next guy - I still want DLC in the meantime.I could be wrong about that last paragraph as it's just speculation - but there is a reason they aren't releasing more DLC which they swore they would do between Title releases.Maybe a DLC pack is right around the corner though - who knows. Sure would be nice.:)
