might be spoilers not sure...I've done like 10 quests completely, discovered maybe 35 places. My best guess is there are over 100 official places to discover. Remember that once you complete the main quest, the game will end. So wrap everything up before you complete it. Playing through multiple times is also an option. Whoops--I must have looked at the Fallout 3 sticky and glossed right over it. I'm sure that has all the info anyone would need.
