Top Spin 3 (2 player problem)

I have top spin 3 for xbox 360. I need to know how to switch sides when you are on a 2 player mode. As in playing with someone else. It seems as if the person on the far end side has the disadvantage and it feels like a major flaw in the game. I sthere anyway we can change sides between sets? Where can i see and change these settings? I think there is a way becuase between one game in between one set the players actually changed sides and I have no clue how that happened. We are playing again and its not happening. Please help.Top Spin 3 (2 player problem)
The starting positions depend on who's player 1 and who's player 2. You also change sides regularly during the game. It is true, however, that one player is one the far end more often if the set ends with an uneven number of games (6:1, 3:0 etc.) So if you constantly switch from player 1 to 2, there shouldn't be any problems. So is there any way we can change players whenever we like? During the game? say we are playing 3 set game. So we would want to change sides after each set. Can we not control that?
