Halo: The Movie Main Title Sequence [To be Designed] Fade In: EXT. Halo Planet Surface %26ndash; Day George Thorgood's ''Bad To The Bone'' plays. The growl of a WARTHOG grows LOUDER and LOUDER as we look up through an idyllic tree- laden forest. Master Chief [Excitedly] Whaaaa- hoooooo!!!! The WARTHOG jumps overhead. It is driven by a HUMANOID figure encased in GREEN ARMOR. We see a CLOSE-UP of his orange HELMET VISOR. It glistens with the radiance of a thousand shooting stars. A woman's voice interrupts. Cortana (V.O.) Afternoon, M.C. We need you back at the base to test your armor configuration. Again. Master Chief Aw, don't let your circuits get in a twist, Cortana. I'm having fun here. Cortana (V.O.) To return to base, head toward the green dot shown on your helmet's mini- map. Or, you may press ''Y'' to skip these instructions. [A chirping SIGNAL sounds.] Hold that thought, M.C. The C.O. wants to talk to you. C.O. [angrily] Jeez Louise, M.C.- where in the Halo are you, son? You're the last of the Spartans; we can't afford to lose you or have you bust up another Warthog. Who do you think you are??? Master Chief [pauses] I%26hellip; *Am*%26hellip; the Master Chief! Taken from OXM page 104 December 2008 issue. The problem with making a Halo Movie is what do you do with MC? He's terse, and would never say ''Aw'' or ''Whaaaa- hoooooo.'' He's a soldier who fights for humanity, and get's little in return. He's not in the UNSC to be a national hero. In Halo 2 he says ''You told me there would be no cameras.'' He doesn't want to be famous. The problem is translating that into a movie. How do you make a movie with no girl to get, a hero who's face we hopefully don't see, and who barely talks? What would happen in the movie?!The truth behind the halo movie
We all know by now that movies based on our favorite videogames should be embraced with the lowest standards to be fully enjoyed. It's the sad truth, my man. You want to make a movie based on something, you gotta cater to more than just the rabid fans of the core material, or Hollywood will reject your ideas. The truth behind the halo movie

You can't press ''Y'' in a movie. And the MC would never say Whaaaaa-hoooooo!
If you are waiting for the movie to come out, it has been killed.
