I was playing horde mode on insane with some friends -- currently at wave 15 so far -- last night and then all of a sudden the game acted as if it was destructuring itself. The graphics were slowly becoming grainy, the guns turned into blue wire frams, gun shots were N64 graphics, the floors and walls were showing rainbow colors, the sound from the game went to the crapper, and the game just completely acted as if it was in debug mode or something. Here is the only pic I was able to get. I turned my system off, checked the disc, and restarted my system. It worked fine the rest of the night. I have yet for this to happen again. Gears 2 messing up big time for me
Your graphics card on your Xbox is going. RRoD will soon be on the way. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.Gears 2 messing up big time for me
I think that means your xbox is breaking...or maybe your wiring is screwed?
......This is my 2nd xbox. I've only had it for 3 weeks. I don't much like this one though. The cd-tray opens and closes slowly. Also, it's a first gen case so I suspected it wouldn't last long. I miss my first 360. It worked well, never had any problems, and lasted a year and a half. Oh well, it is kind of good news in a way, but at same time it's not since I love gears so much.

It MAY be the graphics card, but don't panic, could be any reason, really.

The disc has nothing on it. Also, this disc is from the LE Gears 2. I hope it doesn't mean my disk was not optomized correctly or created correctly.

I doubt it'd be anything but the graphics card going. same thing happened to me in COD4, next thing I not, my 360 starting giving me the RROD.

I never said you were wrong, just that you never explored other issue. Did you think that your experience could a be a coincidence?

A scratched disc wouldn't cause the game to go haywire after 15 waves, it would've happened at the start. The only other thing I could think of that could affect it would be the Xbox itself. It may not be the graphics card, but I wouldn't say it was the disc. Of course, it could have just been a random glitch if you haven't experienced it again.
But what do I know?

Yea the disc is not scratched. Also, not that it matters, but it happened at wave 8. I have yet to run into this again. I wonder if I should contact MS or Epic.
