My left 4 dead demo is taking ages to complete and im just wondering which way is faster.Do downloads go faster when the xbox is ...
It should be about the same since both ways it's still using your internet connection.Do downloads go faster when the xbox is ...
how is it suppose to download if your xbox is off ?

The green power light in the middle of the power indicator will continue to flash until it completes downloading, then it turns off the whole thing.As for which is faster - not sure. It shouldn't make much difference, though when it is on it will be passing some data back and forth with Live to report your status to others viewing your profile or check for messages. It won't have to do this while turned off, so technically may be slightly faster, though probably not by much if anything.

i started 3 1G plus demos once turned the box off they were all done in like 20 mins it was amazing

The NA marketplace has different downloads, it's probably not available there if you haven't already found it.
For some reason it feels like it downloads faster.
It's just probably an illusion when you doing something else that staring at the progress bar.
