Hi,Just got Gears of war 2 and was wondering weither to display it at 720p or 1080i. I know this is a hard question but i'm going with 720p so far since there is so much going on on the screen?Any help would be great. Gears of War 2 720p or 1080i?
You should use the native resolution of your TV which I would guess is 720p, unless you have a 1080p ( aka Full HD) TV then use that. Also I would recommend adjusting the brightness settings in the game and put it right in the middle of the gauge, i think the default setting was set a bit too high making the game look slightly ''washed out''.Gears of War 2 720p or 1080i?
Well if u can use 1080p, thats what i have but i have full hd. I have been messing with the in game setting on it. It looks freakin amzing.
He asked about 1080i, and you both mentioned 1080p...... Nice work.I'm going to be general here, but go with what looks best. Simple solution. CRT's usually are better in 1080i, LCD's are usually better in 720p.

I was aware of that, but he may have a Full HD TV which does 1080p without knowing it though. And if he doesn't he should use 720p, but 1080i might be better if has a CRT or projector.
